First visit to Water's Table for lunch. Made reservations through Open Table for a birthday & were seated at a table overlooking beautiful Lake Washington. The restaurant is located in the new Hyatt Hotel in Coulon Park. It's just off the lobby of the hotel so the best parking is finding street parking near the front entrance. Unfortunately, I followed the self park signs which led to a garage with signs to the east & west elevators except you have no idea which elevator to take unless you know where the restaurant is located. It is definitely not the west elevators. It's a small menu, but it was not what was on their website. There's was an express option of soup, main entree, salad & cookie. It was a full size turkey club, chicken orzo soup, salad with blueberries, & a oatmeal raisin cookie. It was a good lunch choice, but nothing out of the ordinary. Next time I'll have to try other menu items. Service was attentive & friendly.

Quality is less, but the view is great. It’s inside of grand Hyatt hotel. The back foot view is fabulous!

Five stars for view; four stars for friendly service; two stars for food. Spaceous and clean. A good location for family and business gatherings every once in a while, just don't expect much from the food.Lunch menu a bit pricey. Food took a long time to come out. Fried rice flavorful but mushy. Burgers ok. Stay away from the "wagyu" steak. I was excited to see it on the menu for such a low price of $25. In this case, it really was too good to be true. Wagyu beef is supposed to be marbled and melt in your mouth tender. My steak was nowhere near that definition. It was the leanest steak I've ever had, as well as being flavorless. I did not enjoying eating it and would not recommend this item.

It's a nice place, good ambiance, the best feature being the fantastic view of Lake Washington, stretching out with the Olympic mountains in the background. They've had some recent turnover, with a loss of some key personnel, and it feels more clinical and mechanical, less personal. Hopefully the new staff will get up to speed quickly. My opinion is that the food and beverages are on the higher end for what you get. You are definitely paying more for the location/view. This is not a Waldorf-Astoria or a Ritz-Carlton. It's a Hyatt. It would be nice if the bartenders, waiters and waitresses could be more personal, chatty and welcoming.

Nice view. Asian fusion. Service is good but food is mediocre. Price is ok for the portion and the location

Really pretty view at the window in the evening. They have an outside eating area that's really nice. Wasn't super busy. We had good service and the food was great. The Poke bowl is a healthy serving and was really fresh and balanced. Under the radar spot.

Food was pretty good - taste of each dish was very good but a couple were too salty. Nice view of lake Washington. Service was a bit slow - I guess it’s because the place is very new but our server was very friendly and had great recommendations on the amount of food to order. The desserts were all excellent. Jasmine tea panna cotta was excellent. The prices are average for a hotel restaurant. Bottles of wine were pricey.

Full view of Lake Washington table seating. Quite enjoyed viewing the yacht coming into port and Hyatt hotel staff waiting to serve champagne. Very kind hostess. Wonderfully humourous and kind server. Delicious hamburger without brioche bun due to me being gluten free. Normally, I'm not a huge avocado fan, but this made the thick, juicy burger with pancetta even more juicy and tasty. The sparkling rose wine was a dry sweet spot to the meal.

Love this view and it's close to home! Nice to have this hotel and restaurant in the neighborhood. Had our office Christmas Luncheon here and everyone was pleased. Attentive staff, good food and can't beat the view! Been here a few times and never disappointed.

Thanksgiving Brunch was everything I hoped it would be. Traditional food prepared in fresh ways. Green Bean casserole was old and new at the same time. Yummy. Prime Rib, Turkey and seafood. BEST part was little bitty mason jars with chocolate mousse raspberries and whipped cream. LOVED IT. Staff was warm and glad to have us there. First time for me. Not the last time for sure. Thanks Jin.

Quite possibly one of the best dinners that I have ever eaten! First off, the staff was so friendly, welcoming and took care of my wife and me during the entire meal. The manager, Ben, made sure we were welcomed and that we were happy throughout the evening. Our servers, Mark and Nicole, always had smiles and took care of us.The view of Lake Washington from our table was fantastic! We watched the sun go down as we dined and enjoyed our meal.Even if you are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, I still recommend that you come here and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We were staying at the Hyatt and went down for dinner. Recently I had food poisoning but we had our reservations at the hotel already booked so we proceeded with our anniversary weekend anyway. The first night we went down for dinner and as soon as we ordered I just got sick to stomach and ended up getting sick in the bathroom. The waitress was very nice and said she would being our food to our room. Chloe who works at that restaurant came up to our room with a bottle of water, a bottle of sparkling water and a box of crackers. Those crackers helped me through the whole night. I was so impressed. We will be back here for every staycation.

Had a good experience at Water's Table and consistently delicious food. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Southport for a conference and dined at Water's Table for dinner once and drinks/appetizers on a separate day. Ordered the tomahawk steak for dinner to share - a bit more fat compared to meat than ideal but the meal itself was great. We ordered broccoli, mac and cheese, and the beet salad and all were great. Highly recommend the fish and chips - mainly for the fries that come with it! We went back on another day just for those fries.

Wonderful view and my first experience with avocado toast. The cherry tomatoes provided excellent balance to the dish and the salad at least gave me the illusion that I was eating healthy . If one pretends the wildfire smoke outside is fog the view is wistfully romantic.

We had nice experience from beginning, amazing view of the lake, sunset...breathtaking. Place was beautifully designed and well-maintained, great customer service from our waiter Hugo, he was friendly and knowledgeable, gave us good suggestions, and at the end when he realize it's my daughter's birthday he got piece of cake with candle, it was really nice touch to our evening. Food was good, but wasn't wowing, I was expecting amazing flavors, but...

We went out with a friend and tried the oysters on half shell, prawn skewer, gem salad, salmon and pork chops. Everything was really fresh and well prepared. Probably the best salmon we've had in a while. Sweet and mild, not fishy with excellent side dish. Pork chop was juicy and well seasoned. Service was excellent too.Great evening at Waters table!

I came here with my friend on a whim and was greeted at the door by a not so happy guy who asked if we had reservations. I said no, he looked annoyed and told me he would see what he could do. Withing seconds he had us seated at a great table right by the water view on the patio. The rest of our experience was great. Great food, great service, great view, great drinks. The only downside was the guy that greeted us. He wandered around with his tablet looking grumpy seeming as if he was being rude to the other wait staff. The restaurant was not even busy. It just seems like a facade he was putting on to make them seem busier.

Amazing ramen and sweet employees. Accidentally order Kim chi rice iron pot instead of fried rice iron pot. They were helpful with fixing this. :) Get the fried dumplings as an appetizer!

We had a great girls night here. Come early because all of lake Washington is just beyond your table. Sunsets area a nice perk and the food is very good. We had Poke Bowls we liked a lot and the organic chicken made me remember why I liked chicken before I started buying those inexpensive rotisserie chickens to have around the house. Its a really nice hotel too- and it felt like a whole different feeling than the ones in Seattle or even in Bellevue because of its orientation to the water. Definitely a nice outing.

Updated : I returned one last time. The staff was all very attentive. Especially Nancy our server! She was great! SOOOOO Happy because this is a beautiful spot if you live in Renton to have a celebration and the views are tremendous.I hope they keep up the great work!I have been here twice and both times the service was lackluster. I had wave down the staff to get a coffee refill. On the first visit I never did get a coffee refill even though I requested one. I expect top notch service from an expensive restaurant!

It’s the restaurant inside of Hyatt hotel. The view is awesome! I’m willing to pay 20% more because of the view. The food is good. Only reason I put 4 star instead of 5 is because they forgot to give me the honey while I ordered the honey yogurt, I didn’t realize that until my daughter refuse to eat the yogurt, then I tasted and found they didn’t put honey in. Besides that, everything is awesome! They also have a big deck in front of water, you can see Boeing’s airplane just beside it.

Ate here for the brunch buffet. Not as fancy a spread as I had hoped for but definitely a big step up from the usual hotel continental breakfast. You get omelettes, pancakes, or waffles made to order, with the buffet. The waffles were absolutely delicious. Though a bit pricey as a regular breakfast place, this buffet included all my favorite breakfast foods. And inside a nice, new hotel with a view of Lake Washington.

Delicious! Staff were all friendly and helpful. We were there around peak dinner time so it was a little crowded, but we didn't have to wait more than ten minutes for our table. The bar was packed so it took a little while for our drinks to arrive, but we weren't in a hurry so this wasn't an issue for us. The food was all delicious - highly recommend the charcuterie board, as well as the pot roast. I'm not usually a dessert person but the chocolate and raspberry dessert was absolutely amazing, and just the right size.

So the three stars are for the venues location. The restaurant looks out over lake Washington near Coulon Park. On a beautiful day the view is something that is hard to beat for an evening dinner. The food though left quite a bit to be desired. Especially since I was up the remainder of the evening with acute food posioning. I ordered ice tea and the waters burger. I only at half the burger and barely made it home before I was in the restroom and running chills. If I go here again it will probably be just for an ice tea. I probably won't be ordering food again.

Great Thanksgiving buffet. Well worth the price. After a few plates all I could keep eating was the panna cotta. Coconut and mango bliss. Would of been stellar view from table if we had gone earlier in day. Drinks are separate from buffet service.

My new favorite spot in Renton and maybe on Lake Washington! Views are great, nice looking inside, happy hour was good. The drink I ordered was just ok (some sort of iced tea), but will be back to try more. Will definitely come here regularly.

I'm giving Robbie, our waiter, all of the 4 stars!! He was fabulous!! I worked in the hotel biz in food n beverage for 31 years so I know great service. The view, of course was spectacular but the food was just so-so. Just wasn't impressed. We had apps, salads, n main dishes including pastas, burgers, n fish. Our hopes were high as the menu descriptions sounded pretty good but we all felt let down by the finished dish. So sad it didn't work out because we all were born in and still live in Renton and we were hoping for a new "favorite place to hang" that is local!! Keep trying Hyatt, maybe more "northwest fare" might help!?!? Also, you get 2 hrs on your validated parking ticket. By the time we got and paid for our check, we ran over. The extra time cost us $3.30. Our check total w/tip was about $180.00, x-tra parking cost just didn't seem right!!!!

Delicious oysters and this newer pan fried version we discovered last night. Gnocchi with spring peas, asparagus, and a gorgeous cream sauce, salmon tartine, and brussel sprouts. A fabulous spring menu with Manhattans looking out over sunset on Lake Washington kn the open air patio. Fabulous!
